Unit 2: Assignment 1

I decided to complete a search on the Blood Type diet. This topic was interesting to me because my trainer has me on this diet and I thought he wasn't giving me enough food options lol. With this search I came up with some very helpful info.

I also found that there were several similarities between the search engines and the meta-search engines. One major similarity was that the 2 major search engines came up with the same information in almost the same order. The meta-search engines found the same websites that Google, Bing, and Yahoo discovered. The meta-search engines had several ads before you got to the actual search results which was different from the search engines. All those ads were very annoying and had absolutely nothing to do with my topic.

Welcome to my 2013 blog

Hello! I'm Danielle Fields, I am a senior and planning to graduate in May 2013. My major is Sociology. My short term goal is to complete the class with better computer skills than I already have.

I use my email everyday to send and receive information. I enjoy Facebook to keep up with old classmates, family and friends. I use Twitter because it somehow allows me to feel connected to the celebrities that I choose to follow. I watch YouTube videos when I want to learn how to do something new. I use Google as a search engine to fine whatever I am looking to gain knowledge on or purchase. With Instagram I am able to share photos with friends as well a see others photos from around the world. Finally, Facetime is for video chatting.

The only Web communication tools that I use for school related purposes are email and Google.
